Atlantic City 2015, What should I know

2015 in Atlantic City

What  hotels have in store  for you.

Atlantic City Night

Even if you couldn’t make it to Atlantic City to celebrate New Year’s Eve, you still have almost all of 2015 to gamble, eat, drink, shop, and be entertained in this fabulous 24/7 town. More good news is that great Atlantic City hotel deals, including Atlantic City discount hotels, are plentiful, and you can take advantage of lots of special offers right on this website. We also have the latest scoop on all of the great Atlantic City shows and other Atlantic City events that may interest you. Whether you gamble or not, there is always lots to do in Atlantic City and lots going on, but it’s at night that this town really comes alive. So the focus of this article is the Atlantic City nightlife.

Of course, in much the same way that you have a wide choice in what you play and how much you spend at the slot machines and tables, whether you make your fun night on the town expensive and over the top or surprisingly affordable is entirely up to you. Room costs, particularly if you are staying at one of the elegant Atlantic City boardwalk hotels or Marina hotels with a casino, are somewhat higher on weekends and holidays than during the rest of the week, and some entertainment venues may be a little more expensive, as well, but they are still nothing like the out of sight New Year’s Eve prices. So if it has been too long since you have treated yourself to a special night out in Atlantic City, what are you waiting for? Virtually every night of the year, every casino and major non-casino Atlantic City hotel is buzzing with excitement. If you don’t believe me, check it out for yourself. Atlantic City truly is the Las Vegas of the East!

Martorano’s

For a perfect combination of a hearty Italian feast served with an attitude (forget asking for substitutions) and music and dancing, too (the later the hour, the louder the entertainment), the place to be is Martorano’s Italian-American Kitchen at Harrah’s Resort. The Atlantic City Martorano’s is very much like the original at the Rio in Las Vegas and very much unlike any other restaurant. For reservations, call 609-961-6970.

The Pool

There is no hotter or cooler place (depending on your point of view) to let loose in Atlantic City on a Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday night than the Pool After Dark at Harrah’s which is open those three nights only from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. AC Weekly voted the Pool After Dark the Best Place to Spot a Celebrity.
