Atlantic City is getting ready for Independence Day weekend, with the Atlantic City fireworks show at the heart of it—what is July 4th in Atlantic City without fireworks?
Luckily for you, Atlantic City will be holding one of the best firework shows in the country. Starting at 9:30pm, 10,000 fireworks will fill the New Jersey skies in a staggering 20 minute show. Starting at the barge near The Pier Shops at Caesars, the four epicenters of the fireworks will be located at New Hampshire Avenue, Martin Luther King Boulevard, Hartford Avenue, and MGM Resorts Boulevard in the Marina District. With so many fireworks, you are sure to catch a fantastic glimpse of the show!
The fireworks show will be choreographed by the infamous “Fireworks by Grucci” company. As one of the oldest companies in the business, Grucci’s impressive portfolio includes work for the Electric Daisy Carnival, the Olympic Games, various Presidential Inaugurations, World’s Fairs, and more. Set against music played by Atlantic City’s WAYV FM 95.1, the fireworks show is guaranteed to amaze and inspire. July 4th last year also saw the introduction of “Duality,” an eight minute visual spectacle which helped usher in other light and sound shows like “Boardwalk Beat” and “Winter Sweet.” These breathtaking shows take place every day on the Boardwalk starting at nightfall.
Our recommendation—kick off your Independence Weekend with a good ol’ fashioned pub crawl. Start the crawl at Tropicana’s Firewaters where you will find one of the largest selections of beers in AC, all at an affordable price. After that, take a walk down the boardwalk to the beach bar at Trump’s for the best summer experience of beaches and beers.
After your pub crawl, you will be ready to enjoy the amazing fireworks display. The show is completely free, so make sure you find a good spot to take in the whole show. Don’t miss out on one of the best shows in Atlantic City!
