Bally's Claridge was very disappointing. We wanted to stay in the Bally's tower, but was informed at check in there weren't any rooms! Really? On a Monday night? They charge alot extra for internet service. They gave us a non-smoking room when I asked for a smoking room. The room was fine other than that. The location wasn't very good. It was a long walk to most of the other casinos. Would not recommend this hotel.

We have been rewards card holder for years and until now have been completely satisfied. We recently stayed in the Claridge side of Bally's. We had two rooms. The rooms were run down and dirty. The carpets were stained, the bathrooms were moldy, rooms were very dusty and they smelled. One room had water all over the bathroom floor. We called to see if we could move to a different room, they told us out right "NO". They sent housekeeping up without us knowing. When she was done, the room had a strong smell of deodorize. The hotel needs to be updated. We paid $565.00 for two nights. This was way too much to spend on two rooms of this quality. Very disappointed!!!

We stayed at this hotel because our friends recommended it.
The first night was great, second and third night were a nightmare because of people next door. we requested some actions from the front desk on the second night, but they tried to compensate us with a dinner voucher. It was really nice of them to make us feel better, but the issue remained until the day we checked out. We enjoyed the pool, the restaurant and the casino.

When we checked in our room was filthy. I did not want to even walk on the floors, there was red stains and burns in the carpet, and you could not see out the window it was so dirty and when I pulled the sheet back there was sandy dirt. Yuk!!! When I called the desk they said I should not have made the reservation with a third party. Will never stay there again. They put us in another room then.

I am from Quebec Canada and my husband and I always go back to the Ballys it is in the center of every thing on the board walk and if you go there do not miss the Virginia buffet the best in Atlantic city incredible!!!!! and also the blue martini with good music and the live bands will get you on your feet dancing the night away I really recommend a stop and you will see for your self. The employees are very professionals and welcoming.

I booked at Bally's, But when I arrived they gave us a room at the Claridge. It is attached and can be easy to get to. But, Our room was a No Smoking room and it smelled of smoke really bad. I asked the staff cleaning if this was a smoking room and they said no. maybe the manager should take a walk into the room. I called the front desk and was told their were no more rooms available. Also, the rugs were really dirty looking. I think the floor that I was on needs updating very fast. Also, the elevators broke down for a couple of hours and we had to take the service elevator. Only after waiting for about ten minutes for the elevators did someone finally come and lead us to the service elevators. Very disappointed.

I just got back from my first trip to Bally's in Atlantic City and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were affordable, very airy and the bed was VERY comfortable. The hotel was very accomodating and big! There was plenty to keep us busy for the three day trip being that Bally's is at the center of the boardwalk. The only downside was having to pay for the pool. But parking wound up being free and they gave a little booklet of coupons to all their restaurants and shops. It was great! I fell in love, and will definitely be staying at Bally's again in the future.

I just wish they had a breakfast buffet in the part we stayed at. I liked the other resturants but I like to have a variety for breakfast. Everyone was very friendly, we were able to get in our room early housekeeping would clean early. The only bad thing was the elevators broke down one night and it was a lot of walking to get to another one wish was the service elevator. I would really recommend friends to stay there.

Ballys was great in every way. The only improvement I could suggest is having a map that assists in navigating the huge casino and hotel. The location is superb and there are numerous casino tables and slots to spend your time with. The beach and boardwalk are right outside the door so you couldn't ask for a better location. There are numerous other casinos, shops, and restaurants an easy walk from this location. I highly recommend Ballys Hotel and Casino.

We had made reservations for Tuesday but we decided to go down to Atlantic City a day earlier. To our surprise all rooms were booked at this hotel. The hotel clerk was not very helpful; this was around 4:00 pm. When we inquired if there was a possibility of getting a room later she told me she wouldn't know until midnight or 2am. We were really stuck..had to pay airtime to use internet to be able to book at another hotel...luckily the first hotel we tried got a room immediately. Once we got back to the Bally on Tuesday afternoon we enjoyed our 4 day stay there; everything we wanted to do was close by. We would definitely return to this hotel with reservation.

I'm really disappointed about the stay in Bally's. When I was booking the room on Bally’s website, the new blue Bally’s tower was on the website.

But on my stay, Bally’s reserved a room in the very old Claridge tower. An upgrade was not possible.

This is not cool. The room was clean but very old and a small bathroom.

I guess this is tricky: show the big new guest tower and book an old room.

The hotel was clean and well kept. The employees were very friendly. Our only complaint was the number of unsupervised children throughout the hotel. We saw children running around in the restaurants, the lobby and even in the casinos.
I would have used the wireless internet in the room except for the high cost.
The food in the restaurants was good if not a little over price. But that can be expected in a large hotel, just because of the convenience.

We asked for a smoking room and were given a non smoking room. They changed room after a day and the smoking room was in need of refurbishing. The walls needed painting, the TV barely worked, the door latch kept getting stuck, and one of the outlets did not work. We ended up in the Claridge instead of Bally's. Overall disappointed in the room and the facilities. We were also a bit disappointed in the check in counter. We needed to talk to three separate agents before they finally changed our room to a smoking room.

I booked 2 rooms months in advance because we were planning to have a private bachelor party for my best friend. I paid probably double what i would have paid if i had booked it last minute, as there were $79 stays available all over the internet.

My complaint is that they advertise $10 tables all day everyday, but there aren't very many and they are always full.

They stuck us way back in the Claridge which was probably really nice in the 1920s, but kind of old now.
