I just got back from my first trip to Bally's in Atlantic City and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were affordable, very airy and the bed was VERY comfortable. The hotel was very accomodating and big! There was plenty to keep us busy for the three day trip being that Bally's is at the center of the boardwalk. The only downside was having to pay for the pool. But parking wound up being free and they gave a little booklet of coupons to all their restaurants and shops. It was great! I fell in love, and will definitely be staying at Bally's again in the future.

I just wish they had a breakfast buffet in the part we stayed at. I liked the other resturants but I like to have a variety for breakfast. Everyone was very friendly, we were able to get in our room early housekeeping would clean early. The only bad thing was the elevators broke down one night and it was a lot of walking to get to another one wish was the service elevator. I would really recommend friends to stay there.

Ballys was great in every way. The only improvement I could suggest is having a map that assists in navigating the huge casino and hotel. The location is superb and there are numerous casino tables and slots to spend your time with. The beach and boardwalk are right outside the door so you couldn't ask for a better location. There are numerous other casinos, shops, and restaurants an easy walk from this location. I highly recommend Ballys Hotel and Casino.

We had made reservations for Tuesday but we decided to go down to Atlantic City a day earlier. To our surprise all rooms were booked at this hotel. The hotel clerk was not very helpful; this was around 4:00 pm. When we inquired if there was a possibility of getting a room later she told me she wouldn't know until midnight or 2am. We were really stuck..had to pay airtime to use internet to be able to book at another hotel...luckily the first hotel we tried got a room immediately. Once we got back to the Bally on Tuesday afternoon we enjoyed our 4 day stay there; everything we wanted to do was close by. We would definitely return to this hotel with reservation.

I'm really disappointed about the stay in Bally's. When I was booking the room on Bally’s website, the new blue Bally’s tower was on the website.

But on my stay, Bally’s reserved a room in the very old Claridge tower. An upgrade was not possible.

This is not cool. The room was clean but very old and a small bathroom.

I guess this is tricky: show the big new guest tower and book an old room.

The hotel was clean and well kept. The employees were very friendly. Our only complaint was the number of unsupervised children throughout the hotel. We saw children running around in the restaurants, the lobby and even in the casinos.
I would have used the wireless internet in the room except for the high cost.
The food in the restaurants was good if not a little over price. But that can be expected in a large hotel, just because of the convenience.

We asked for a smoking room and were given a non smoking room. They changed room after a day and the smoking room was in need of refurbishing. The walls needed painting, the TV barely worked, the door latch kept getting stuck, and one of the outlets did not work. We ended up in the Claridge instead of Bally's. Overall disappointed in the room and the facilities. We were also a bit disappointed in the check in counter. We needed to talk to three separate agents before they finally changed our room to a smoking room.

I booked 2 rooms months in advance because we were planning to have a private bachelor party for my best friend. I paid probably double what i would have paid if i had booked it last minute, as there were $79 stays available all over the internet.

My complaint is that they advertise $10 tables all day everyday, but there aren't very many and they are always full.

They stuck us way back in the Claridge which was probably really nice in the 1920s, but kind of old now.

You cannot ask for a better location . . . in the middle of everything that is Atlantic City. I didn't see much for couples with young children tot do, but then again I wasn't really looking. If you have teens though there are plenty of activities where they can go on their own allowing you to have your own time. The staff at both hotel and casino are extremely friendly, always saying hello or asking how you are doing. This alone makes the stay worth it. My recommendation to anyone considering Atlantic City would be to stay at Ballys/Wild Wild West.

I was very disappointed as I thought Bally's was more up-scale. For the price, our room was no better than your average motel. We have stayed at other casinos and found the rooms to be much nicer and even better priced. I do admit the lobby is very spacious and quite attractive and the casino was pretty much average, but does have quite a few older slot games. The Wild Wild West casino was Very disappointing. It certainly was not what I expected. But as the saying goes, live and learn.

Our stay at Ballys was most enjoyable.We liked the link between both hotels and the on site parking.As first time members we received the coupon book and were able to use some coupons for savings.The weather was low 80's and coming from Canada it was exciting having the ocean on the other side of the boardwalk A nice convenience.When we return,possibly next summer,we would like to stay in the Ballys rooms as we found staying in the Clarion was a bit of a walk for someone who has difficulty.We would recommend this stay to others.Thanks Wendy

I can say that I didn't expect the room to look the way it did and be as spacious as it was. It made me say wow, but over all i enjoyed my stay because of the plenty amenities and the available board walk right outside. I would really recommend visitors to stay at Bally's even if it for a day. i would say that the boardwalk is a really good place to take your kids for entertainment but I'll warn you to bring more than enough money with you to the boardwalk because its a little pricie but you just might want to buy what you see.

The line for check-in was extremely long and they only had three people working the front desk. The room was suppose to be non-smoking and it wasn't. I called the front desk several times. The staff was great and promised to get the housekeepers their three times, but they never showed up. The front desk staff finally upgraded our room for us. It was a great room with a nice view of the beach. Great bar directly on beach that we thoroughly enjoyed.

When we booked our room we were told it would have a king size bed or 2 doubles. When we arrived 3 hours after booking the room we were told that they had neither one left but they would give us a room with a view and a queen size bed. Nope,when we got to our room it was not a queen it was 1 double and my husband and myself being use to sleeping in a king size bed did not sleep well at all. The bed was way way to small for a restless sleeper like my husband. We had a nice view of the ocean though.
