Our room was wonderful and large. Very nicely decorated. We had an oceanfront view. How nice! I really love getting up in the morning and going for a walk or run on the boardwalk. Even though it was only 20 degrees, we still took our walk. There were other nuts out there too. The bathroom was a little cramped but worked. Having a coffee maker in the room was also a nice touch. What a deal we got with oceanfront lodging. Would stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a beautiful ocean view. After reading the other very negative reviews, I was a bit skeptical. Once I arrived I felt that those individuals must be divas with extremely high standards. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated that we didn't have to leave the building for food and entertainment if we didn't want to. The only negative was being charged $5 to get my car because I "lost" the tag that the valet never gave me.

We had a very nice stay. I would go back and I stay at Bally's. The bar was a bit expensive but my family had a nice time. We stayed the night before New Year's because the rooms were to expensive on New Year's Eve.
I really wanted to do some shopping but we did not have time. So I will take more time and try to enjoy all of the shops.
Next time we will try to go in the summer time.

We arrived late and when checking in were told that we would have to change rooms the next day because they had no rooms available for two nights. They would not explain further and it was definitely an inconvenience as we could not unpack and get comfortable, but we actually ended up having a great time, and both of the rooms we stayed in were nice. We enjoyed the casinos and it was really great that Bally's was attached to Caesar's so we had more to explore. The location was also really great: right on the boardwalk near the beach, and stores, and the outlets!

The room we stayed in was quite nice. The only complaint we have is that the shower head didn't work properly. One of the nozzles was missing and the water came out in one large stream, making it somewhat difficult to enjoy the shower. We called housekeeping per the instructions of our maid and, other than ask the room number, we got no response. No one came to look at it or attempt to repair it. Otherwise, great stay! I would certainly recommend this hotel for the price we paid. It can't be beat unless, of course, you're staying for free.

The casino did not have enough penny slot machines. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff friendly. We stayed for New Years Eve and we had a good time. Some of the guests were very loud on our floor at 3:00a.m. in the morning and played their TV's very loud and we had trouble sleeping. But over all we had a good time. We were close to the train station which was an asset, we came by train.

The staff was very nice,the only complaint we had was the young people in the room next to us were very loud and did not stop until 6:30 am.We like the idea that we can go to three casinos with-out going outside.We also would like to see more no smoking areas in the casino,It is very hard to play some slot machines when the person next to you is blowing smoke in your face,all in all the stay was very nice.

Room nice, view terrible, room dirty, carpet stained. Incredibly disappointed that I was not informed that buffet would be closed, as that is the reason that I come to this hotel. Front desk was great when informed of my disappointment, they supposedly upgraded my room, but the view was terrible and the room was dirty. One would think that if major changes are being made to hotel, then they would inform you that when you book your reservation or inform you by email later

Apart from the 2 nights of bombastic,arguing neighbors and the eagerness of the cleaning staff (too early). Bally's was a great no frills escape from the ordinary routine. If you don't have "diamond" or "five star" status then you're relegated to feeling like herded cattle when patiently waiting for common services.
Bally's offers a clean, quaint and organized poker room, catering to the novice or intermediate card player. The twice daily tournaments are an affordable way to occupy several hours of your day. Smoking in the open air spaces should be addressed, otherwise lower your expectations, saddle up and book your stay today.

The actual room we stayed in was at the Claridge Casino. I did not know this when booking the reservation, hence, I suppose the cheap rate. The value and cleanliness of the room were good. However, one can easily tell the building is a bit old. Also, the beds were not comfortable to sleep in at all. I thought it was just me, but the next morning, the other people in my party felt the same way. I had no problems with service, however, the beds could definitely use an upgrade. Overall, it was an OK stay. I would probably try a different hotel next time.

I decided to come to Atlantic City for my 22nd birthday celebration. I chose Bally's because it was right on the boardwalk. It was a two minute walk to some of the other sites and hotels which was enjoyable. Overall, the hotel was nice. The dinner we had at Arturo's was above average but for the money we paid we received large portions. The complaint I received was when my roommate went to utilize the free pool, which closed rather early the night before. He said the pool was unsanitary saying there was "old band-aids floating around". Would I come to Ballys again, Yes. Would it be my first choice for my second time around, No.

I don't know if you will post this for other people or not. The people were ok, a bit pricey for things in the store. We had to wait in line for about 45 to eat, at 11:00pm.We had requested a king size bed and when we got there we had to settle for two doubles. The room when we first got there was dirty the carpet was wet and there was trash on the floor. The nightstand hadn't been cleaned there was something sticky on it. Thanks Mrs. Connell

I booked here for the spa area was really excited about the pool area with the hot tubs. The pool closed at 9 so there was no time for that. Got a Ocean view room but windows were so dirty could barely see the ocean not to mention the blue tape all over the windows. Other parts of the room were also not so clean. Definitely not worth the money I spent. Was called a deluxe room but there was nothing deluxe about it not even a fridge.

Ballys has been an amazing getaway anytime I've traveled there. I've stayed at other hotels in Atlantic City but my stay with Ballys has always been the best. The first time that I traveled there, they ran out of smoking rooms in what I had reserved so they gave me a free upgrade. The last time I spent the extra 10 dollars to check out the spa, and it was so peaceful, my advice if you have an extra hour spend the 10 dollars and relax. It was a great stay.
