This hotel was very clean and the rooms were a nice size for two people. We had a few minor problems, but I would not even mention them except that the overall issue was that the problems were not dealt with in a timely manner. The major issue was our smoke detector kept going off. At first it would beep once every ten minutes. We called the front desk, they responded immediately and came to the room. The man simply took off the cover, stood there for two minutes and left. He said he does not know what he did, but that it hasn't beeped since he's been here. All through the night, it would beep once every ten minutes or so. Then at 4:15am, it went off. We called the front desk as the smoke alarm kept beeping. After ten minutes with the alarm deafening us, it went stopped beeping. No one came to our room or called us to let us know what the status was. We were able to get two hours sleep until the smoke alarm started to beep every ten minutes again. We again called the front desk, we were told they would tell the manager. Again, no one got back to us. We waited for two more hours, with the smoke alarm beeping, until we got up, got dressed and went down to the front desk. We were again told that they would tell the manager. At this point, my husband insisted that we either be moved to another room, or we wanted to check out early. Again, we were told they would tell the manager. We left to go to breakfast. When we came back, we checked with the front desk, and they finally moved us to another room.
