We chose the hotel because of the kitchenette and proximity to the beach. I read other reviews and was prepared for the dirty windows and tight parking. I had high hopes because the website says the rooms were remodeled last summer. Unfortunately, that was a bit of an exaggeration because I couldn't see the results. The walls were dirty with food particles, gouges and stains. The carpet wasn't the cleanest either. The bathroom and kitchen were pretty clean, and the bedroom was okay. Overall, the stay was fun. If you can't afford to stay at a casino, just remember- you get what you pay for.

At first I was not impressed with the hotel; however, this being a first visit to Atlantic City I had nothing to compare it to. We were seeking a comfortable family friendly non casino hotel; while remaining in close proximity to casinos for the adult family members who wished to visit the casinos. The location was ideal for beach access, and Bally's was a five minute walk. Parking at this hotel was tight as others have mentioned but it is manageable for a standard vehicle. The room was acceptable. The bathroom was clean, but all windows were very dirty. The view from the balcony was an ocean view; however the more prominent view was the very worn tarred building directly attached to the hotel. The pool was very small, but sufficient for our family. If travelers are seeking optimum location in a non casino hotel, I would recommend this hotel. It does not possess the glitz and glamor of the casino hotels, but for the price it is worth considering.

I always like to stay in this hotel as it has a kitchenette. However, the previous visits there were much better than this past visit. I was not satisfied with the front desk service, they seemed to be low end and have bad attitudes, which is something I don't want to deal with coming from New York City. If I want attitudes, I can just stay in New York and not waste my hard earned money staying in their hotel. Plus, to add insult to injury, it was like pulling teeth asking for anything, such as a crib for my 14 month old, which I specified in my reservation. Also, what I've noticed even in past visits, is that the carpeting in the rooms are filthy, your socks literally turn black. The previous time we were there, we had complained of ants being in the room. They had to get someone to come exterminate the room. But the hotel manager is very nice. It's just too bad that things are not properly maintained/cleaned and their service is poor.

The Hotel is simple and pleasant. Located a few steps away from the Atlantic City boardwalk and the beach. This is our second visit to this hotel. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here, walking distance to other casinos, restaurants, shows, etc. The rooms are like being in an apartment with kitchen, fridge, stove, microwave. You can store food in your room and not worry about it getting spoiled. There is no room service as far as a cafe or restaurant being there, but you can order from nearby and they deliver to the hotel. The Pool is a small one. The room has a balcony which some face the ocean overlooking the boardwalk, nice view at night when resting in.

Great pool
From the outside of the hotel, it looks deceiving because it is pretty run down. The rooms are pretty big and spacious. They are also clean. We did not get to see the pool, but we heard it is very small. We decided to go to the beach instead. We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the beach and in the middle of everything. It was also one of the cheapest compared to many of the other hotels.

The hotel was very outdated. The kitchen had a refrigetor that looked like it was from the 1960's. Windows were dirty in and outside. The bathroom sink stopper was stuck. The toilet bowl was loose. The door knob was coming off. The everything in the gym room was broken. The arcade room had only a pool table and two video games. We did not enjoy our stay even from the outside of the hotel it looked bad. I would not recommend this hotel at all unless they give you a very cheap rate and some perks to go with them.

The rooms are fine, but the public spaces are somewhat run down. Service is not a strong feature. All the amenities that have an asterisk -- available at the front desk. This included pool towels, game room pieces, etc. It was a runnig joke among the people staying there. On the other hand, it served our purpose very very well.

Oct 12, 2006: AtlanticCity.com customer
The parking in this hotel was horrible. It was near impossible to park in the lot and then getting out was even worse. It is entirely to small for minivans or suv's. There isn't enough parking. If you park across the street they don't even pay for the parking. I think they should at least pay if you can't park in the garage. The hotel is ok nothing to brag about. It does however look better on the inside than you would expect looking at the building from the outside. The location is the best part. Being right in the middle of the boardwalk. Very easy to get anywhere.

It was a last minute booking and I would not reccomend this motel. If I had known what it looked like inside I would have went elsewhere. Stay at one of the casino's if you want to have a good time. It was as clean as it could get. I would have to say it is a time share and the people who own it are just looking at the investment. It would help if they updated the decor and installed new rugs. There was an oder of mildew in the lobby and room. The rooms are large and can accomidate a large family or two couples.

The parking garage left something to be desired as it was very difficult to get in and out and not conveniently located. I know it was being renovated but come on people. I enjoyed the kitchenette area. The futon bed was ok but maybe a pullout couch would have been more comfortable. The bedroom area was very comfortable. It was clean without a cigarette smell which is something I always appreciate. For the price it was very good. It had what I needed for night stay. I could have stayed there for a week if I needed to. The front desk area was a little crampy but again renovation was in progress. I would make the sitting area a bit more comfortable. The chairs as I recall were not inviting at all. I would hope the renovation that was done has improved on some of these areas. I frequent AC and I am always looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay despite me not being in the room long enough to get the full picture of the room. I usually go by first impression and if it slaps me in the face on opening the door then it is a good pick.

the room its self was good. it had a nice kitchenette area (it was well equiped with cooking utensils) and a decent living/ dining room. it sat four around the table which was plenty ehough. the living room had 2 couches which was very convenient. the bedroom was also good and it had a nice view of the ocean. the paking lot was just scary. it had a car elevator that was ancient. it was very confusing. the pool was a total mess. it was very green and looked dirty as well. also the front desk area needed a makeover as well. everyone there was very nice to you. we also got a later check out time of 2 pm rather than 12 which was very nice. the hotel itsself was locasted right next to sands which made it easier for us to walk to. all in all it was a decent time. the room was the best part of the hotel. the hotel does need some remodeling in certain areas. i would stay again if the changes were made to the parking garage, corridors, and front desk. i ejoyed my stay there and made the best of it as much as i could.

Great location without casino. Went in winter, but would be great in summer. Front dest ws very informative, would love to stay at the penthouse over summer. Room was small, we own at the Flagship which has larger rooms. Loved the convience of the hotel because it was in the middlke of the boardwalk aqnd could just walk and and go ever way for entertainment. Gsrage was not great but it worked for us. would staqy ther again if I had to. The pool was very small and could not really swim, but I did use the hot tub. Irf I ould be staying there I think if I was staying ther for aq few days I would like it better.

I researched the hotel's website and the pictures that I found on it must have been from 10 years ago because it looks as if they do not upkeep the hotel at all. The rooms are sub-par. The pull out couch was disgusting but the queen bed was nice. It was a real pain in the ass going up and down the car elevator to park! The location is nice though, it puts you right on the boardwalk between Trump Taj Mahal and Trump plaza. The main reason I chose this hotel was because I wanted 6 people to stay in the room, this was the only hotel that did not charge a separate fee for more than 4 people. The outside of the hotel was very disappointing and the pool was tiny. I would not stay there again and I would not recommend it...spend the extra 50 bucks and go to a real hotel!
