My husband & I stayed on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday nights and our intention was to see a little bit of Atlantic City for the first time & to see the Breeders Cup in Monmouth Park. Thursday night was fine but we did not get any sleep at all on Friday & Saturday nights. The Chelsea Hotel is located right next to a Pub and bands were playing music loudly all night long. We could hear the music and the bang, bang, bang of the drums throughout the entire night. (I could even hear one of the bands still playing music loudly while I was IN the shower at 7:00 a.m.) Honestly, we should be refunded for the two nights because we were there to sleep and to be rested up for the Breeders Cup and we did not get any sleep at all the two nights. We paid for the rooms with the intention of getting sleep and we did not get what we paid for. And in fact, on Saturday morning, we drove around trying to find another place to stay (that we thought would be quiet) but we had such little time before we had to leave for the Breeders Cup and it proved to be impossible for a Saturday night on such short notice. We would like to visit Atlantic City again and really have a chance to spend time on The Boardwalk. But we will never stay at the Chelsea Hotel again and will instead spend more money for a nice, quiet room. I just want to warn everybody that if your intention is to sleep at night on the weekend, do not stay at the Chelsea Hotel. People literally party all night long into the early morning hours in the Pub and you can hear the loud music through the walls and the ceiling of the rooms. Thank you.

I was very disappointed that I spent almost $500 and was not pleased with the room or the service.I would not recommend anyone staying there due to the fact that the bath tub was filthy and the room felt as if it was going to cave in on us. There was no iron or AC the toilet water kept running. It was just a bad experience for myself and my family and I can promise you it was just horrible.

Very nice and beautiful woodwork. This hotel is not for someone that seeks the Holiday Inn type atmosphere. But we enjoyed the atmosphere and quaintness very much. We enjoyed the bar below and didn't arrive until early in the morning and the bartender was very helpful. The hotel was an easy walk to just about everywhere on the boardwalk. About the only downside I can think of is the size of the bathroom was very small and the blinds did not allow for late nights on the boardwalk.

I had an enjoyable stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Me and my niece had a great time. The only things I didn't like were the fact that people were living there. Also I wasn't told where to eat, considering I stayed at a pub and hotel. Our rooms were clean and nice I would like to book rooms next year in the nicer rooms you have.

Very nice for value. Highly recommended if you do not care if there is a casino where you stay. Walking distance to Tropicana. Clean and nice and for 1/3 the price well worth it on those busy holiday weeks where everywhere else is about 4-5 times as much.

Hotel was clean and comfortable for the One day we were there did not stay long as we were mostly at the casinos that were nearby and stores and restaurants were not far and the beach was a few blocks away. To travel to other casinos in the area take the jitneys that are right there cost is only $2.00 each way. Rooms were clean and comfortable and we will will be back again hopefully for a longer stay, so that we can also enjoy the beautiful beach

The hotel was clean, but the location was horrible. It was right next to the bus terminal of the Tropicana. The heat was also exteremly hot and we could not control it. We had to sleep with the windows open. There was also a lot of commotion outside. And with having to sleep with the windows open we did not get much sleep at all. The staff was friendly, and very nice. The location was good because it was right across the street from the Tropicana Casino, there was a bar and grill right underneath us that was open 24 hours.
