We enjoyed our stay at the Tropicana. The restaurants and the shops were quite nice. The casino was very satisfactory at prime times, but surprisingly short on tables in the morning, after breakfast. The hotel was fine, except for the housekeeping staff which was not responsive to our request for additional towels. We made use of most of the facilities: the pool was not exciting, but certainly served our needs (unfortunately, though, the bathrooms were not clean and did not have toilet paper). There is a nice cafe at the pool, which we enjoyed. It was especially nice to relax on the beach, the amount of litter was disappointing, however.

Me and my fiance went just for a weekend get away. the hotel is in a great spot right on the boardwalk and the beach. Hotel is very clean and everyone is very helpful. the hotel is beautiful and love the atmosphere. The casino is very clean and like that there are always new games to play. hotel has great resturants and shops too.there is also a great price not too high priced pretty averagely priced. Definitely would stay there again

At the Tropicana, it's a great place if you want to enjoy and relax with anything from entertainment to staying in your room. We enjoyed our stay. At the time of our stay many families were there but everything was so peaceful. The boardwalk and going to the beach was especially fun.
While walking around the casino we enjoyed how people was just having fun. We will surely stay at the Tropicana again, and again. We hope many of you enjoyed your stay as we did.

I went to AC with my girlfriends to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had a wonderful dinner at the Palm. We were extremely disappointed that there was no entertainment to be found after dinner in the hotel geared for our age group. There was no entertainment in the clubs until 11:30 or later and it was targeted to the younger crowds. Room was nice and very clean. Check in was extremely slow, once we were able to find the registration desk. Check out was just as tedious. Only one set of elevators were working, so we waited over 30 minutes to get on the elevator to leave. The registration desk was still not staffed properly so I finally gave up and just left my key in the box.

the check in was confusing as no one explained where to go and had long lines other wise all worked out. I heard there was inside pool but there were no signs, is there one? I did go to outdoor pool. I think the hotel should have a listing in the rooms to advise people what floors and towers have what in them. Great Casino and good restaurants. We happy a great time and would come back again. My friends and I had a great time at the hotel. All of us wanted to do different activities. From the restaurants, gambling, to the shopping; we were all able to enjoy the activities we would like to. It was nice to not have to leave to have something to do. I thought the hotel was nice. The check-in was fast and friendly, the ladies at the desk were very nice, and they explained the add-ons to the room without me even asking. The only thing I was not aware of(and maybe I should have asked when I reserved the room), is if you reserve a room and get there late (after the check-in time designated)they have the right to give your room away to another guest. My family and I still got a nice room, however, it wasn't the room I reserved, and it didn't suit the price I paid. All in all, it was a nice stay.

The room was not fully clean. There was a open container of milk left in the refg. and no soap left in the room. There was not enough help on to check you into the room, we were in the lobby for two hours just to get the room key.The parking also could had more help on,we drove up and it was very crowded. The view from our room was great but the hotel itself is a little far from the main attractions on the boardwalk.

Pool looked very nice, only problem we had was the massive amount of children. Check in was very long we went on sunday night will never do that again, we waited in line for atleast 30-45mins. Loved the casinos. Wish they explained the casino cards better we lost money bc we had never been and they never explained we needed to cash out before moving to next machine. Once we got in the swing of things we had a blast and plan on going back very soon.

We came here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and our stay was great! The check in was quick, courteous and friendly. Our room was just ready when we arrived and we were allowed to check-in early. We had dinner at Wellington's and the service there was fantastic. The food was excellent and the pricing very reasonable. We had no absolutely no complaints or dislikes about our stay. We are trying to plan another romantic getaway like this soon!

The Tropicana hotel is ok,but the west tower room that we stayed was not clean!You can see stains on the curtains and tiles in the shower and shower curtain.The same I noticed on the elevators.As the doors closed you can see the dirt and dust on the doors!Never seen anything like it before.I also didn't like the fact that the smoking section of the casino was next to the buffet area.The restaurants and shops were ok.

The Tropicana is a large, impersonal hotel with a full occupancy and no desire to try to please a guest. The check-in line was similar to Southwest airlines, without the friendly clerk. We were denied our advanced request for an ocean front room; we were denied our advanced request for a king bed; the clerk's attitude was take it or leave it.
The room was fair.There was no guest book or guide that would explain the location and hours of operation of the many restaurants, hotel security (what to do in an emergency), a map of the premises, a check-out guide, etc. Instead there was just a take-out pizza house menu.The towels were small and thin.

The hotel does not have enough signage. You have to find an employee to ask where things are. I was not the only person asking directions; a little crowd of lost guests would often gather around when I was asking someone directions.One employee chastised by wife for "not listening" when she repeated back his directions. How rude!

The positives of Tropicana are its convenient location- proximity to beach and many restaurants. The Palm restaurant was very good. Otherwise, I really can't recommend the Tropicana to anyone.

The Tropicana was a nice hotel/casino. It was surprisingly more crowded than I thought it would be on a Monday, but I do not mean that as a negative...I just did not expect it. There are a lot of young children that stayed there. This made the pool a poor choice for any adults without children. There was one promotion desk worker who was extremely disrespectful to the point where I would not stay again if I was spoken to this way again. His name, I believe, was Rahmad. Otherwise, the staff was great. Casino was awesome with a nice variety and great dealers. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in their stay at the Tropicana...just avoid the one worker who was disrespectful and acted like he was too good for his job.

First, I book my stay on line, when I got to the hotel I check in. Walk alot to the room that was given to me and when I got to the room it was occupied by someone else. Went back to front desk and the Rep was not pleasant and that there was no rooms available. Until he finally got me a room. Plus I request a double bed with no smoking room and 1st was given a smoking room.
