At the check-in counter, I didn't know the clerk had charged me a $5 hold on my card. He didn't inform me that we was doing that at all. That was poor customer service to me. I will be watching my card closely to make sure that transaction comes off my card. I would like for you all to make sure you inform your hotel clerks at the desk to make sure to inform the customer on everything that they are doing with their card.

The hotel was really very nice and very large. We stayed in the West Tower. The room was very clean and well-proportioned with a beautiful panoramic view the city. The check-in process was a little slow, but it was Christmas Eve, so I am sure the hotel may not have been fully staffed. The check-in staff was the only staff I encountered during my short visit, but they were very courteous. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Tropicana is a very nice looking hotel,and has great bars and shopping,the only downside to this hotel is the service and lack of customer service.The feel of the hotel is like there is no one running the show. The casino is really nice and has plenty of table games and many many slot machines.Tropicana also has an amazing Imax screen where you can watch new releases and has kid friendly movies and snacks,overall its a great place to get away.

I loved the Quarter! I kept forgetting I was in NJ and thought I was someplace exotic! My husband has never been to AC before and was hesitant in going because he isn't big into gambling. However, he loved all the other things that the Tropicana had to offer. We walked the boardwalk to come of the other hotels to take a look around. In the end, we were happy we chose to stay at the Tropicana because in our opinion it seems to have the most to do.

The hotel was nice. First we were placed in the North Tower. That was on the old side and we were not very happy there. The room was small and crowded feeling. We then switched to the Havana Tower. That was newer and much nicer. It is near the stores and restaurants but a distance from the casino. I think the Havana Tower is a much nicer place to stay! I would stay there again the next time I decide to visit Atlantic City!

Room was clean upon arrival but the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work and right door on the closet kept coming off track. The elevators in the "West Tower" were a nightmare. Were being worked on most off the weekend and were extremely overcrowded around check in and check out time. Took forever to get one. They did not even work at all when we checked out. They had to bring us down in the service elevators that the housekeeping workers use. Our stay was OK. Probably would look elsewhere when returning to AC but The Tropicana had the lowest rates out of ALL the other Casino Hotels on the boardwalk.

The room was nice. There was a banging noise that I kept hearing though. I was told the N card could be used to get into the clubs for free, but the clubs would not honor the Tropicana's N card. Nor would some of the restaurants. When I called to try to talk to someone about that the customer service person could not find a manager which I thought was crazy. I was finally given the cover charge back but on the N card but was not able to use the full amount because if you don't use the N card at specific places you are only allowed to get half or a percent of what you are comped. I was extremely bothered by that and the fact none of that was explained to me up front or on the phone when I finally got through to a manager. I would stay at the Tropicana again, hopefully with out issues.

Checked in at the quarter and it was very crowded. They did not have my room reservation for a King, but accommodated us very well. We were given coupons for the Quarter and a free Starbucks breakfast. Room had an amazing view looking down the boardwalk and out to the ocean. Casino was very close to the room, which was nice that we didn't have to walk far. Parking was also close and cheap at the Tropicana; only $5 for the day and night.

The room was spacious good comfortable beds and also a huge bathroom. It was a great experience in this hotel so many amenities to choose from. Effortless to check-in n check-out, valet parking is inexpensive. Wish I would have booked at least more than one night cause there was so
much we did not get to experience. Surely I have learned my lesson and will be booking a room for more than just one night in the future. Also for next time I would like to experience the spa amenities.

This hotel was great. I liked the snow every fifteen minutes, made it feel like Christmas. Everything was in the hotel, you didn't even have to leave the hotel if you didn't want to. There were four couples that went and we asked for all our rooms to be together and they accommodated us. We are all talking about coming again in February and want to stay at the Tropicana. From the moment I arrived I just knew I'd have an extraordinary weekend. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. From valet to the front desk and housekeeping. The hotel was extremely festive with the holidays upon us. I loved the decor thru out and my room was nice and comfy with a wonderful view. I also took advantage of the amenities; shopping,dining and dancing! The spa was fantastic too. I can't wait to return, think I'll stay a little longer.

Great hotel from top to bottom, this is the first time I never left a hotel I stayed at!And I've been to Atlantic City At least A Dozen Times. Everyone That I Traveled with loved the resort from top to bottom, the casino is great, restaurants and bars are plentiful as well as well varied as far as theme goes. the shops are nice as well with a wide assortment of stores. Its nice to go to the beach in the off season and still have as much fun as summer!!

This is an awesome place to stay for family. I enjoy staying because of cleaning,entertainment,gambling and nice cozy bar and very easy access to beach and restaurant.they have verity of restaurant all over the place and its so easy for anybody to choose what to eat. also, its so easy to get to main street. The only thing that I would like them to add is, they don't offer any two bedroom suite for families more than four so sometime that I am coming with my family we have to stay in separate room.

I would highly recommend staying at the Tropicana to anyone visiting Atlantic City. The hotel was clean, staff was very nice and respectful. We ate at "Wellington's" and the food was extremely good. The atmosphere was beautiful, we were able to get a table with a view of the ocean. The casino is full of slot machines and black jack tables. We especially liked the bar with the ice around it, where you can sit your drinks right on top of the ice!
