I would definitely stay here again at the Tropicana. My requests for room specifics were met. I had a large king bed and a big room that was kept clean. I enjoyed all the food that I ate and found the staff helpful whenever I had a question. I also enjoyed being able to walk the boardwalk and do a little shopping. I found the hotel in great walking distance to the shopping area. I really enjoyed my stay even though I found the casino extremely cold.

It's been a while since I stayed at the Tropicana, but I still love it. Especially since there was a great deal for a mid-week, 2-night stay from Tuesday to Thursday. The Latin Quarter is a lot of fun, there's a variety of restaurant and bar options, decent shopping, and a great comedy club!

The casino has a fun feel to it, the people who go there are of all age ranges, and its central location on and access to the Boardwalk is key. There are plenty of bathrooms throughout the Casino. The signage is pretty good, minimizing the possibility of getting lost. The Hotel gives its guests free beach towels at their Boardwalk cabana.

Although different from and less luxurious than the Havana Tower, the Tropicana Hotel is nice; the rooms are quaint with black and white photos of Atlantic City in its hey-day and a blue/white seaside decor. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The hotel and casino staff were all super nice and always helpful, from the front desk, concierge, housekeeping, valet, casino dealers, and even cashiers.

The only complaints I have about the hotel are that they didn't provide a guest services book, shampoo or sufficient towels in the room (guest services brought the towels and shampoo right away after an easy phone call) and the elevators were slow in the West Tower, especially in the morning, due to construction. I would have checked out the pool, but the weather wasn't so great. Next time!

The west tower is really bad, I booked the room through Atlantic City.com site, and I still got a crappy room. The hotel service is the worst I've ever seen. The sheets and blankets in my room were sour, we called house keeping several times, when someone finally came he brought sheets, with no blankets and said it was not his job to change them. We asked him to smell the sheets and he said that was not his job either, but he had on a housekeeping uniform, go figure?We called several time after, the last person hung up on me. We slept on sheets with no blanket after we made our own beds. One bar of soap in the room and when we checked in at 3pm there were dishes in the hallway that at 3am the next day were still there.I will never stay at the Tropicana again.

The Tropicana Havana was terrific,the place is immaculate. I especially enjoyed the way the layout is designed for the restaurants, shopping, & evening entertainment.I enjoyed the view from my window. The check-in was
quick & efficient.Something for everyone. I recommend the Spa & the beach. The beach is well patrolled & clean, the boardwalk is clean day & night. I Especially liked the new shopping center with the musical water display. Even in a storm, there is plenty of entertainment indoors everywhere. I love Atlantic City.

The hotel was great. It was right on the boardwalk and close to the beach.The casino was excellent with a variety of gaming options.The staff were very friendly and helpful and very prompt when we needed assistance.We only stayed for 2 days but I would give the Tropicana an A .We had to cut our vacation short because of a family matter back home but we still enjoyed our time that we had.When we had to cancel our last night there was no problem with getting a cancellation and getting a refund on our room.Overall we were very happy.

We spent two beautiful days at the Tropicana, the places were clean the food was good and the prices reasonable. The room was spacious, clean and the bathroom was large but there was shampoo and conditioner for only one person (fortunately we had our own). Shops offering several products and clothing and also a chocolate factory which has its place in major tasteful.

Poor service, poor promotions, poor elevators, and poor front desk service sum up our stay. Ice machine not working on 3 floors above and below ours. The casino would not comp a second tee shirt or allow me to buy a second one for my young daughter. The outdoor pool was closed for an entire afternoon for chemical maintenance. The indoor pool was very small. Overall the rooms were adequate, very much like you expect from this price range. The elevators for the west tower were unbelievably slow, not just at check in and check out. Would not recommend a stay here.

There has a nice underground shopping center. With a really nice grocery store, where you can buy the best chocolate in all over the word.
The hotel's elevators are really bad. They don't have enough them That was the only negative thing. I recommend it. The casino was amazing for me. The service was pretty cool there. The housekeeping was Ok. They did a nice job. The beach is right next to the hotel, so you can jump there easy.

The Tropicana was a great experience and I highly recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a good time. I loved the vast selection of restaurants and bars to choose from. The shopping was a lot of fun as well!! The Quarter felt like you were in another world and I love the sky ceiling. I would definitely stay again and hopefully the next time I go I'll be able to take advantage of the pool and beach amenities that are provided to guests of Tropicana. Overall, great hotel and great people!!!

We made a last minute decision to run away to the shore for a get away. This hotel has anything you can think of, including cabanas on the beach. We are still smiling. The weather was beautiful and the boardwalk was so much fun. The wide variety of restaurants in the hotel meant we never had to leave for meals. Also, this is a casino hotel, but any guests who do not gamble will find a lot to do in the resort, beach, and boardwalk.

The Tropicana is a great get away hotel; with something for everyone. The people are very up beat, and helpful. the amenities are top of the line. Who could ask for anything more, and a really great dollar value!! The hotel staff are very friendly and always ready with a great idea for something to do on a rainy day; when you can't get it together. The ease of access to the casino, shops, and restaurants if just fabulous, a really great layout. We'll be back again soon!

The hotel was convenient to Boardwalk and Beach activities. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hallway had carts with dirty dishes which could have been cleared in a more timely manner. The check-in process was OK. I pre-checked in at a station in the Quarter and I had to go the hotel lobby to finalize. The lines were short for me, but, there were long lines in the lobby. The check-out was very convenient. There are various methods. I chose to check out via the television. There are a large variety of shops and restaurants. The casino was spacious. There are a large variety of table games and slot machines. I personally like the no smoking law, however, there are are designated sections in the casino for smoking. The entertainment was great. I very much enjoyed Fame. I was disappointed in the elevator service. There were long waits on the floor and in the lobby. It did not appear that all of the elevators were operational. In many cases, the elevators were very crowded. The elevator waiting areas could have been cleaner. In all fairness, there was a sign posted in the lobby that the elevators were in the process of being upgraded. I'm sure this had something to do with it.

the room was good and service was good. my only problem is that i had to change rooms because of children running up and down the hall's at 2 o'clock in the morning.i was also promised coupons from this sight received nothing.the entertainment was good we saw two shows fame and yesterday the price of the show's were reasonable. there were many places to eat our favorite was corky's. on a whole it was a decent time.

Had problems with cleanliness of room. They switched rooms for us but those rooms were directly below laundry room and had a second night of no sleep. Trop was not very accommodating to fix the problems. Spent alot of time waiting in line to check in, they need a better system. I had a group of 7 people with 2 rooms and spent alot of money in the casino and still didn't get much help resolving issues we had, had to argue with management. When your on vacation you expect a clean and quiet room as that is what is advertised.
