Check in was fast and efficient. Our room was clean and we had a nice view. We have stayed here before and enjoyed it each time. The shops inside are so convenient and almost any type of eating you wish to do is available without even leaving the casino. The location on the boardwalk is also great if you chose to leave this casino but it is definitely not necessary! Parking here is great too. the elevators are close and you don't have to walk far to check in. I would recommend this casino to all!!!

We stayed on a Thursday night for a reasonable price ($97.00), which is easily the most I would ever be willing to spend in the future. We were considering staying Friday night until the front desk stated it would be $299.00 - no way is this hotel worth that much for a night. Not too mention the outdoor pool is a joke - I have seen motels with a better set up. In general, the hotel is old and outdated but decent enough to spend under $100 to stay there.

While I am not wheelchair confined, I cannot walk long distances. I was assigned a room in the West Tower, which was the farthest from anything. Had to request a North Tower Room. Change of room was done expeditiously, however, I was charged an upgrade fee and had to walk to and from old room to meet the bellhop. Once settled the hotel stay was pleasurable. I and my family will definitely return but to the North Tower which is close proximity to everything.

Our family trip was great. Our 4 year old loved the beach and the pool. Even our 13 year old had a great time. The food was good and the hotel is clean and every one was helpful we had a great time. We are going to go back very soon. But this time it is going to be an adult only week end. The shopping is great and we got nice gifts for the kids that had to work and could not come with us.

Please, avoid the check-in rush at 2:00 pm (too much busy at that same time). The hotel is very big. You need time to feel oriented. But this is a great quality-price value. Staff is very kind and helpful. Even if this is a casino hotel, my young children (7 and 10) liked the hotel and had fun at the beautiful outside pool on the top. We also liked to go for biking and walking on the wonderful Boardwalk. Atlantic City is a very exciting place, and beaches are large and beautiful. We will go back.

I would definitely stay here again at the Tropicana. My requests for room specifics were met. I had a large king bed and a big room that was kept clean. I enjoyed all the food that I ate and found the staff helpful whenever I had a question. I also enjoyed being able to walk the boardwalk and do a little shopping. I found the hotel in great walking distance to the shopping area. I really enjoyed my stay even though I found the casino extremely cold.

It's been a while since I stayed at the Tropicana, but I still love it. Especially since there was a great deal for a mid-week, 2-night stay from Tuesday to Thursday. The Latin Quarter is a lot of fun, there's a variety of restaurant and bar options, decent shopping, and a great comedy club!

The casino has a fun feel to it, the people who go there are of all age ranges, and its central location on and access to the Boardwalk is key. There are plenty of bathrooms throughout the Casino. The signage is pretty good, minimizing the possibility of getting lost. The Hotel gives its guests free beach towels at their Boardwalk cabana.

Although different from and less luxurious than the Havana Tower, the Tropicana Hotel is nice; the rooms are quaint with black and white photos of Atlantic City in its hey-day and a blue/white seaside decor. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The hotel and casino staff were all super nice and always helpful, from the front desk, concierge, housekeeping, valet, casino dealers, and even cashiers.

The only complaints I have about the hotel are that they didn't provide a guest services book, shampoo or sufficient towels in the room (guest services brought the towels and shampoo right away after an easy phone call) and the elevators were slow in the West Tower, especially in the morning, due to construction. I would have checked out the pool, but the weather wasn't so great. Next time!

The west tower is really bad, I booked the room through Atlantic City.com site, and I still got a crappy room. The hotel service is the worst I've ever seen. The sheets and blankets in my room were sour, we called house keeping several times, when someone finally came he brought sheets, with no blankets and said it was not his job to change them. We asked him to smell the sheets and he said that was not his job either, but he had on a housekeeping uniform, go figure?We called several time after, the last person hung up on me. We slept on sheets with no blanket after we made our own beds. One bar of soap in the room and when we checked in at 3pm there were dishes in the hallway that at 3am the next day were still there.I will never stay at the Tropicana again.

The Tropicana Havana was terrific,the place is immaculate. I especially enjoyed the way the layout is designed for the restaurants, shopping, & evening entertainment.I enjoyed the view from my window. The check-in was
quick & efficient.Something for everyone. I recommend the Spa & the beach. The beach is well patrolled & clean, the boardwalk is clean day & night. I Especially liked the new shopping center with the musical water display. Even in a storm, there is plenty of entertainment indoors everywhere. I love Atlantic City.

The hotel was great. It was right on the boardwalk and close to the beach.The casino was excellent with a variety of gaming options.The staff were very friendly and helpful and very prompt when we needed assistance.We only stayed for 2 days but I would give the Tropicana an A .We had to cut our vacation short because of a family matter back home but we still enjoyed our time that we had.When we had to cancel our last night there was no problem with getting a cancellation and getting a refund on our room.Overall we were very happy.

We spent two beautiful days at the Tropicana, the places were clean the food was good and the prices reasonable. The room was spacious, clean and the bathroom was large but there was shampoo and conditioner for only one person (fortunately we had our own). Shops offering several products and clothing and also a chocolate factory which has its place in major tasteful.

Poor service, poor promotions, poor elevators, and poor front desk service sum up our stay. Ice machine not working on 3 floors above and below ours. The casino would not comp a second tee shirt or allow me to buy a second one for my young daughter. The outdoor pool was closed for an entire afternoon for chemical maintenance. The indoor pool was very small. Overall the rooms were adequate, very much like you expect from this price range. The elevators for the west tower were unbelievably slow, not just at check in and check out. Would not recommend a stay here.

There has a nice underground shopping center. With a really nice grocery store, where you can buy the best chocolate in all over the word.
The hotel's elevators are really bad. They don't have enough them That was the only negative thing. I recommend it. The casino was amazing for me. The service was pretty cool there. The housekeeping was Ok. They did a nice job. The beach is right next to the hotel, so you can jump there easy.

The Tropicana was a great experience and I highly recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a good time. I loved the vast selection of restaurants and bars to choose from. The shopping was a lot of fun as well!! The Quarter felt like you were in another world and I love the sky ceiling. I would definitely stay again and hopefully the next time I go I'll be able to take advantage of the pool and beach amenities that are provided to guests of Tropicana. Overall, great hotel and great people!!!
