The Tropicana hotel is ok,but the west tower room that we stayed was not clean!You can see stains on the curtains and tiles in the shower and shower curtain.The same I noticed on the elevators.As the doors closed you can see the dirt and dust on the doors!Never seen anything like it before.I also didn't like the fact that the smoking section of the casino was next to the buffet area.The restaurants and shops were ok.

The Tropicana is a large, impersonal hotel with a full occupancy and no desire to try to please a guest. The check-in line was similar to Southwest airlines, without the friendly clerk. We were denied our advanced request for an ocean front room; we were denied our advanced request for a king bed; the clerk's attitude was take it or leave it.
The room was fair.There was no guest book or guide that would explain the location and hours of operation of the many restaurants, hotel security (what to do in an emergency), a map of the premises, a check-out guide, etc. Instead there was just a take-out pizza house menu.The towels were small and thin.

The hotel does not have enough signage. You have to find an employee to ask where things are. I was not the only person asking directions; a little crowd of lost guests would often gather around when I was asking someone directions.One employee chastised by wife for "not listening" when she repeated back his directions. How rude!

The positives of Tropicana are its convenient location- proximity to beach and many restaurants. The Palm restaurant was very good. Otherwise, I really can't recommend the Tropicana to anyone.

The Tropicana was a nice hotel/casino. It was surprisingly more crowded than I thought it would be on a Monday, but I do not mean that as a negative...I just did not expect it. There are a lot of young children that stayed there. This made the pool a poor choice for any adults without children. There was one promotion desk worker who was extremely disrespectful to the point where I would not stay again if I was spoken to this way again. His name, I believe, was Rahmad. Otherwise, the staff was great. Casino was awesome with a nice variety and great dealers. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in their stay at the Tropicana...just avoid the one worker who was disrespectful and acted like he was too good for his job.

First, I book my stay on line, when I got to the hotel I check in. Walk alot to the room that was given to me and when I got to the room it was occupied by someone else. Went back to front desk and the Rep was not pleasant and that there was no rooms available. Until he finally got me a room. Plus I request a double bed with no smoking room and 1st was given a smoking room.

The only problem we had during our stay was the noise outside our room at all hours of the night.

We were supposed to be on a smoke-free floor, but there were people smoking in the hall on our last night. There were approximately eight male and female smoking and the smoke was coming into our room.
Only one of the employees at the check-in desk was not very friendly. Otherwise everyone was friendly and very helpful with any questions we had.
I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel had many resturants and shops.We were disappointed with the poker bar in the Casino, we spent a significant amount of money there and were charged for drinks whereas at Trump Plaza there's a poker bar called Jezzabells where we drank for free.We had lunch at two different places one called Re Ras an Irish Pub and Carmines an Italian restaurant where the portions of food were enormous both resturants were very enjoyable and we would definitely return.

I was not able to take my bags to the room with a cart. The hotel policy is, "the cart belongs to the bell men." Without knowing distance to the room from where I would park, I was forced to use bell service. It took 2 hours for us to receive our luggage to our room. I repeatedly called bell service to ask whereabouts of my luggage and I was told that the bell man left with the bags and they did not know where they were. We were stuck in our rooms for this entire time because everything was with the bell man. You can guess whether I used the bell service when I left, or if I carried every piece of luggage to the car. Also the room was old, didn't have a safe or coffee maker, and was small. How can you not have a safe in a casino room?

Nice casino, nice shopping and restaurants, but the room and the bell service will keep me away from this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Like being transported to Havana for the night. Restaurants great, room great - we had connectors which worked out very well. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We didn't have to wait for anything. All in all- it was a really great experience and now that I am a rewards member- I can't wait for the incentives to come back again. Really look forward to it - maybe not with the kids this time. Thanks for a great stay.

The room was very big and clean. It had two flat screen tvs with a king sized bed. The service at the hotel and casino was very good. We ordered room service in the middle of the night and surprisingly it arrived very quickly. My only complaint would have to be one of the restaurants we attended, II Verdi. It was very expensive with small portions, and the food was average. We have no complaints with the room or casino. We would definitely stay at Tropicana again.

I stayed at the West Tower. The elevators were the worst. Took up to 30 mins. to get on. I've never waited that long before. I order a pot of coffee which took an hour. On check out that was a joke. Everyone was waiting for their baggage and their car and people were checking in at the same place so it was a huge mess. Would I stay again No way!!! The only thing I could say was nice was the room.

Very good value compare with other similar hotel around the world. We had over 10 visits in Las Vegas and more in Atlantic city. We found that Atlantic city is getting better all the time. Easy to access and the city is getting cleaner compare to few years ago. The only negative point thatwe found is the price of the meals it still expensive compare to other place for similar type of restaurants. However the quality of food is increasing from year to year.

The hotel was pretty awesome for adults, but my 13 and 15 yr olds could not go to the pool without me and they were not able to hook up their xbox so they didn't have much to do, although they loved the Imax theater. The boardwalk was pretty sleazy, especially after dark, so it really wasn't safe for them to walk around out there either. I would definitely stay at The Trop again (after finding a babysitter, of course!)

Traveling alone, I enjoyed my stay. My bed was very comfortable and I loved the shopping. However, I could not find the spa. The pool very small and the lounge area was a bit crowed. The entertainment selection was not my taste. I hoped for a more up-to-date, hip vibe. If I had to improve on anything it would be faster check in and room service. But overall for the price, I was able to get some Rest and Relaxation. I would do it again.

We had a good time. Long wait to check in. My Mom is 93 and was a long wait no where for her to sit. A long wait to get our car on the way out..Other then that had a nice time. We go there because we like to play poker and like the casino. We will come back. You need a lot of points to use the coupons you gave us. We stayed the night and could not even get free parking,
