We stayed at the Tropicana. We enjoyed our time at the hotel, the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The check in was quick, easy, and friendly. We had a room that over looked the casino VERY NICE. Room service was prompt and very good. We plan on visiting Atlantic City again in the near future, and will be booking the Tropicana again. We had a very positive experience and can not wait to return. A great hotel overall!!

I come there for my honeymoon I think you need to update the rooms . The furniture was was kind of old know flat screen tv . When I went to the diamond club office every worker was rude . If you want someone to come you need to work on customer service that a plus. To check out I was staying in 5934 I thought at 9 o'clock the check out booth was open it was not. If you are paying money for a room the business center should be free.

The Tropicana is a fantastic hotel/casino to stay at! It was very cold the day we went and there was no need to leave the hotel/casino with all of the shops, restaurants, and bars in the Tropicana alone (and of course the casino). The room itself was an average hotel room. Very clean and no big problems other than the refrigerator not working and the ice machine on the floor not working. Ordered room service, which was average hotel price, prompt, and delicious.

The Tropicana hotel had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When I checked in I went upstairs to my room which was not cleaned and looked like a disaster area! Two pizza boxes were lying on the bed, empty soda bottles were left on the dresser, dirty towels on the bathroom floor, and a questionable stain on a chair. It took 30 minutes for a maid to come upstairs and attempt to clean it, and when I called the front desk they didn't even care. It took another 35 minutes to get moved to another room which was dirty also. Their were food stains on the bed skirt and the carpet had not been vacuumed either. When I called the front desk again I was bounced around from person to person and never spoke to a manager. After an hour the housekeeping manager finally came upstairs and offered me a VIP room for the same rate. Worst experience of my life! Definitely not worth the time or effort!

The Tropicana is a great place to stay, especially in the cold weather. Everything is located within the complex: dining, entertainment, shopping, casino, so there is no reason you would have to go out into the cold to get somewhere. The staff was very pleasant. One point: The hotel should recommend at the time of room booking that you make restaurant reservations. All restaurants were booked so we had to eat at a bar & grill - not the romantic dinner we had anticipated.

The bed is really the only thing I have to complain about. It was horrible. There was a dip in the middle of the bed and every time we moved we would sink into it and get uncomfortable and have to get ourselves out of the dip. The line was long to check in, but when we finally got up to the desk, the gentleman was very pleasant and made sure where we were going to get to our room. I would stay here again. But I would hope that they change the beds by then.

The hotel was excellent. The hotel was very clean, classy and comfortable. From the lobby, to the rooms, as well as everything in between, I was impressed. I love the bedroom, especially the stand-up shower. I felt like I was someone with alot of money, even though my finances were limited. I got alot for my money. Everything was right there, so i didn't have to leave the hotel for anything. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by check in, valet, and bellhops to ensure an accommodating stay. I'll definitely be returning to the Tropicana the next time I'm in Atlantic City.

I had a great time staying at Tropicana Hotel and Casino. The atmosphere was great and the crowds were fun to be around. If there was one downfall to my stay, it would have to be when we tried to leave. My family and I ended up waiting twenty minutes just to get on the elevator to leave. However, we had to get on the elevator going up first just to get on, otherwise we would have waited even longer. Then the elevator proceeded to stop on every single floor from the 49th floor to the 30th floor, because everyone else was experiencing the same problem. There seem to only be one working elevator around check out time, which was not fun at all. Other than that problem, we all had a great time, and I would recommend the Tropicana Casino and Hotel to anyone looking to have a great time.

Was given a room upgrade upon checkin due to request for anniversary. room had nice view but lacked sitting area/furniture, carpets were stained/worn. Staff was good, imax movie good. comedy club was great, plenty of places to eat. quite a lot of shopping if you like to shop which i do not. i found the casino was ok although too few tables, tables were crowded most of the time. only one table for "let it ride" which is my game of choice so i ended up playing the slots with my wife, something which I really do not care for.

My stay was very enjoyable. It was actually only my 3rd time staying in Atlantic City for more than 1 day. My wife and I had a good time; didn't gamble much. Surely, without doubt we will return. Our only unpleasant experience was the food. The hotel buffet was a little expensive for hotel stayers and most of what we selected was room temperature at best. Some of the hot entrees were a little cold. We enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.

The hotel and stay was great. Getting to and from the parking garage was not convenient or obvious. Upon leaving my husband and I were confused about how to get back to the correct parking garage for our car. It was snowing and at first we ended up outside and in the wrong garage. Then we had to walk to the correct one and walk along the wall and up hills to finally reach our car. That was the only thing that we found to be an inconvenience aside from the line being a little long when we checked in.

I've been to AC many times and stayed elsewhere but my first stay at THE TROPICANA and I have to say it is now my Favorite Casino Hotel. And at Christmas time, the tree was so nice to view. The room was great. Comfy bed. Great view. Everyone working there was so friendly. Loved the IMAX being right there and the Theatre. A great place for a little pre-Christms holiday which who would have ever thought would include SNOW? Loved It!

Hotel was nice, but it was confusing finding check in. I had a great room in the South Tower with a view of the beach. The only drawbacks were the lack of extra outlets for laptop chargers, phone chargers, etc., and the fridge didn't work. The morning I left, there was a water main break, and I wasn't able to take a shower. I called maintenance, and they said to let the water run, and it would be fine. 45 minutes later, the water was still brown, and I had to leave. They didn't offer a late check out or anything in return.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in it is great for entertainment, restaurants very clean and comfortable. the bed is so comfortable love it. Imax theater is great, great entertainment very nice lounge for the adults to spend time everything is close and convenient. we have stayed here many times and will continue to stay. The service is excellent too. we had the ocean front scenery very nice. enjoyed very much cant wait to come back to enjoy another weekend in at the Tropicana. thank you
