The Trump Plaza is my favorite Hotel in Atlantic City. I think it is best due to the quality of the hotel, the location, and the price. I have stayed in Trump Plaza 9 times and never had a bad experience. I rank every aspect of this hotel as a 5 out of 5 except the casino. The casino is very clean, has a friendly staff, and lots of gaming tables and slots. However, I find some of the other nearby casinos are more up to date with some of the newest slot machines / video games. That is the only thing I would personally change.

I had originally booked a smoking room which was not available when i arrived. The front desk asked for me to come down the next day at about 12 to see if there was anything available,and so we did only to find out that the smoking rooms had dirty walls and the bed were mad very sloppy,check out was 12 and room service knock on our door about 3 times before 12.I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN

Hotel was excellent. It was very convenient to the Convention Center which was our purpose for coming to Atlantic City. Being new to staying overnight in Atlantic City we found the staff very willing and helpful. We had questions about almost everything from where to park to how to get around to what to do and the staff answered every one of them. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. Hopefully our next visit to Atlantic City will be soon and we will be staying at the Trump Plaza again.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. We thought the casino would have been bigger. The check-in went very quick and was easy. People on the casino floors were friendly and helpful. Only wish there were more choices for food, especially breakfast. Would stay again next time we come to Atlantic City. I would recommend staying to anyone who wanted to be right where the casinos are and to save a few dollars. enjoy your visit at a comfortable place.

When I read the reviews on this website, as well as others I started questioning whether I chose the right hotel. The location is great, the casino itself was great, I won a substantial amount of money, the rooms were ok... on the first night we stayed in the Main Tower, it was good, bathroom spacious and shower was great!!! The second night we went to the East Tower to get a great view of the ocean, BIG MISTAKE!!! Immediately we called to go back to the main tower, too much to even explain in detail..other than that, the front desk was very helpful, and we had a great time!!! We will definitely be back! =)

The hotel itself was nice but they need to check each room to make sure everything is working properly. Some things were falling apart and there was a heavy draft from the window. They might want to think about investing in some microwaves for the rooms or at least a general one on each floor. There was a out-dated video game system in the room which they wanted us to pay to use it. Who plays Nintendo GameCube anyway.

I was very excited to stay at Trump Plaza, we got a GREAT deal on the room - that would be the extent of my excitement in regards to where we would reside.

Upon arrival we found most of the staff around the hotel to be rather unhelpful. When we walked pulled into the parking garage the attendant just stared at us... apparently he wanted the $5 parking fee... he never even said anything. Then once in the garage we were completely lost, clearly unsure of where to go and there was nobody to ask. Then we finally found someone after 10 minutes of walking in circles and made it to the front desk.

When we got to the checkout they told us that we couldn't have a smoking room , which is what I requested upon reservations.

The card slot in the elevators to bring us up to our floor only worked half the time for most of the trip. I noticed other people having difficulty as well. When we finally did get to our room it was very nice- there was a window but it didn't open, and the thermostat couldn't go below 65. The room was very uncomfortable, the small fan put to "High" on the thermostat barely even worked. We spent three nights sleeping under just a sheet; even though it was snowing outside we were still sweating. To top it off, the outlet by the window/table didn't work so we had to rearrange the room and unplug other things in order to have a working light in the location that we needed it.

I was also disappointed when we got down to the spa area to find out how early the pool closed (7 o clock?!?) as well as that the sauna on the women's side was not working. It was bad enough that the jacuzzi/saunas were not coed so my significant other and I were unable to enjoy a relaxing jacuzzi together, but worse that he could have used the sauna, and I could not have. After we left the pool they required my significant other to give up his towel before exiting and he was forced to put his clothes back on over his bathing suit because he didn't want to walk through the hotel in what he had on to wear in the pool (a 'smaller' bathing suit).

The service within the casino was also poor, I tipped all the people working when I ordered a drink while playing slots, and it took most of them over a half an hour to come back with one. There was more than one occasion where I tipped a waitress in advance (after ordering) in hopes that it would get her to come back sooner with my drink, and still no luck. I would usually end up leaving the game I was playing, very thirsty.

I am not sure if things were not up to par because we came during the week rather than the weekend, because we were younger people, or because Trump just needs to get some new staff members, but regardless, we were disappointed in our stay.

The room was clean and spacious. Decor was pretty. The pool was a nice extra and children had their own time for swimming. A Great Idea. It was a great value and a good location. Our room was an ocean view and with the snow on the boardwalk and the beach, it was very pretty. I also enjoyed having a little refrig. in the room. I liked being next to the convention center because it is such a pretty building with the semi circle dome.

Everything was perfect. We were up on the 31st floor and had a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean along with the the boardwalk. We were there to celebrate my son's 21st Birthday. The staff was very efficient and helpful. Room service was very courteous and quick. We would definitely stay again. The hotel is elegantly decorated with many beautiful designs,chandeliers,plants,etc. We had a great time. There is much to view and not enough time to spend. Maybe, next time round. Hotel was wonderful. Ocean view of a winter storm was great! The facility was not to crowded but enough people around to make it a lot of fun. We had an emergency at home so we left a day early. No hassle on checking out ahead of time and they had our car ready when we got to the lobby.We are looking forward to going and doing it again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was great except the room was a bit in need of attention; wall paper in the bathroom was peeling and the mat in the tub was needing to be changed out. It felt a bit run-down and neglected.

Also, the windows in the elevators were all dirty, which felt, again, like neglect.

Service and staff were outstanding. I would stay here again, but probably check out some of the other hotels nearby and compare the experiences at each.

The hotel was comfortable. All of the workers were hospitable. Parking was good and I enjoyed my meals at the two restaurants my wife and I dined at as well.

The entertainment was great. The walls in the rooms were a little thin, as I heard my neighbors during the early part of the next morning.

I enjoy myself in the spa area. The workers there were very pleasant. I felt that all of the guests we were around we pleasant and folks were happy to engage in discussions.

The hotel was great. The service was excellent except for cleaning the room the next day. They did not clean the room till after 4 o'clock the following day. The restaurants were excellent. I would give it a total of 4 stars in total. I would go back again with no problem. They had plenty of table games that were very affordable not only 25 dollar tables. For a Saturday night they had 10 dollar tables that I thought were very good and in my gambling range.

I enjoyed my stay with my husband, this was the first time in 30 years we were actually able to get away with out our children. I have been looking forward to spending some time with my husband just to get to know him and allow him to get to know me. We would probably come back to celebrate again, just not doing the off seasons. I truly missed the shows and some of your more reasonably priced restaurants. My husband truly enjoyed.

Had a wonderful time,all the staff I met were very good at their jobs and seemed to enjoy it!I wish we stayed longer I would have liked to tried the pool.The room was very nice,clean and well stocked.The view was awesome,ocean front with a beautiful skyline.I liked the fact that there was plenty to do,but not over sized and easy to get where we needed too without getting lost or worn out.
